Zero-One CD Players

The Zero-One Family of CD Players launches a new era in digital sound reproduction.
Combining true DC coupling with an
advanced analog filter ensures not only accurate frequency response,
but also superior phase coherence. This
results in the music preserving its original dynamics, dimensionality
and openness. In addition, voices and instruments retain their proper timbre.
The high-frequency glare (bite), which has been a typical digital signature,
is eliminated. The mid-bass boom and low frequency muddiness which mars
many high-end converters also disappears. Furthermore, analog dithering
helps to reproduce the smallest signals with uncanny accuracy. The use of
a dedicated analog power supply together with the filter's superior stopband
rejection (>120 dB) frees the analog signal of any digital noise and allows
all of the music's nuances to be perceived.
The ability of the Zero-One players to preserve low level information combined
with unprecedented phase and amplitude accuracy allow them to reach levels which until now were thought unattainable by
the CD format. When compared to other CD players (regardless of price),
the sound stage, resolution, detail, timbre, and frequency extension are
unparalleled. It combines many of the strengths thought to belong exclusively
to the analog domain (low level resolution, sense of realism, and openness)
with the known strengths of the digital format.
The Zero-One CD players are a complete package including CD transport, digital-to-analog
converter (D/A), and high-resolution phase-coherent analog filter. This
eliminates the need for a separate transport, D/A, and the associated interconnect,
while providing sound superior to separates at a fraction of their cost.
All of the CD players include a remote control. We offer a single CD player (pictured
above) and a five-disk carousel-type changer (shown below). Both are available in either
Epsilon or Omega grades.
