The analog signal is DC coupled directly from the digital-to-analog converter's output
to the signal output jacks.
If the analog section weren't DC coupled, a very large capacitor (>3000
microFarads) would be required in order to maintain phase accuracy for the lowest
frequencies. Such capacitors would be prohibitively expensive (~$5000 in the
quality polystyrene capacitors used by Daniels Audio) and in any case would degrade
the signal's fidelity.
